Prialto provides remote administrative assistance and managed subscription staffing for executives, teams, and businesses. Its virtual assistant services are curated and managed from Prialto’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon, with creative insights from global staff in Asia, Africa, and Central America. 

Prialto calls itself the “virtual support service for executives and leaders,” and promises that its dedicated Productivity Assistants (PAs) and team “will pull your business forward.”

About Prialto

Founder, Eric Taussig, says that he’s a bit uncomfortable with calling Prialto assistants “virtual.”

Virtual means ‘not real’ and suggests work that can be ‘algorithmically’ driven by software. Our people are quite real and professional,” he explains. “We provide a valuable management layer alongside them and equip them with technology so that they can provide our clients with more strategic, value-add assistant work.”

While most virtual assistant companies match you with an individual assistant working out of their home or within a corner of a large call-center, Prialto provides a team-approach with assistants working in their managed offices supported by US-based “engagement managers” who serve as a partners to clients and coaches to assistants, constantly optimizing the service. There’s no performance management needed on your part.

Regardless of the physical location of your assistant, they will be made available during your local business hours. The service is aimed at high-performing sales professionals and executives at start-ups and entrepreneurial clients, as well as enterprise accounts.

How it Works

Getting Started: Prialto’s team leverages best practices culled from a million hours of support experience across industries to develop and train your assistant. They utilize internal subject matter expertise and ongoing coaching to continuously develop and expand PA skillsets – ensuring your experience with Prialto only gets better with time. 

Security: Confidentiality and data security are infused in Prialto’s service platform. They have developed a comprehensive security infrastructure, require PAs to sign NDAs, and are currently on their way to achieving SOC 2 compliance.  

Real-Time and Phone Support: Prialto’s team is on-call throughout your service hours and provides you with a phone number you can call for direct access to your assistant. If your assistant isn’t available, their backup support will take over. 

Prialto Personal Assistants often make and field calls on your behalf via a local phone number that Prialto provisions. 

Scalability: Because Prialto works as a team, documents all your processes, and is focused on constant process improvement, the service can quickly scale with your organization. PAs work side-by-side so that they can share knowledge and continuously improve your service. 

Backup and Continuity: With Prialto you don’t lose productivity when your PA is out sick or on vacation. The Prialto managed service approach means that, at any time, 4-5 other teammates across three offices know your processes and can jump in to manage your tasks. Prialto’s Plans and Pricing

Prialto’s PA service is designed around the Prialto unit, a bundle of 55+ hours of monthly coverage by a fractional PA. Prices start at $1,500 per month. After a three-month trial period, the service transitions to month-to-month with no long-term obligation

The challenge in finding a viable alternative to Prialto is that not many competitors have this level of specialization and infrastructure.

Wishup is a great alternative with highly competitive prices.

With companies like Zirtual, Uassist.ME, or even other firms in the Philippines, you might one day achieve the level of integration and sales support Prialto promises, but I imagine it will take some time investment in training.

    When picking a virtual assistant, you have to get a better trained or quality individual than what you would have gotten if you were hiring from your general market. I see this as true in my case. However, I would not use Prialto again. Embracing the new world, I had my company invest in as many virtual tools as I possibly could, and I trained up that PA in its use. Our organization as able to accomplish things that would not have happen otherwise However, the PA is not my employee, so therefore, at the end of my one year agreement, my PA was to be moved to another person. I couldn’t pay more to keep her, and all the manhours of training went to another employer without any recourse. Left to retrain another PA, I dropped the service, and I will never use it again in this manner.

    I was paired with a PA in a recent contract – he is one of the best colleagues I have had the pleasure of working with at both the Fortune 500 level and in niche consulting. He is extraordinarily professional, mature beyond his years and has an EQ / IQ higher than I have witnessed in many. We are in a world where strong talent is not easy to come by.   1. Don’t make my mistake and wait to bring help until you don’t have any leftover bandwidth. If I would have started sooner with Prialto, I would be making more money and enjoying the process of creating instead of being tied up with minutia.     Our company partnered with Prialto on a large scale to provide VA solutions to Real Estate Agents across the USA. Their managed approach has allowed us to minimize oversight after an initial training and discovery period.

    I have had the pleasure of working with Prialto for almost a year now and continue to see value in their virtual assistant services. They have a streamlined setup process and keep a go-to checklist for your dedicated PA that notes everything from your specific instructions on how to answer incoming calls to specific airline/hotel preferences when booking travel.

    My assistant checks-in first thing for any additional daily administrative tasks that can be off-loaded and proactively seeks out missing documentation for business travel, notates each receipt, and even completes custom expense schedules for my review.

    Prialto was my first experience working with a VPA. The on-boarding process was clear and professional and resulted in a seamless integration. At first I felt overwhelmed my schedule filled up so quickly. It was amazing to see how many simple tasks I was performing myself that could be handled by a VPA.     I’ve been working with Prialto for about a year. And, I have to admit, I was skeptical with their staff living half way around the world. But not only has it worked out flawlessly, I love adding to the diversity of my team. First off, the transition was so smooth.     People ask me all the time, “How do you do it? How do you keep track of so much?” That is when I explain Prialto. I work with one person everyday who helps me blend professional and personal tasks to allow me to focus on what I do best (I’m still trying to figure that out.)     Prialto is my (not so secret) secret weapon.
    The PAs and EMs are on point. Professionalism is table stakes in this business. Prialto recruits and trains their people to go way above and beyond. My PA takes initiative daily helping me perform at the top of my game with my clients and prospects.
    The whole system is set up for maximizing efficiency and minimizing service interruptions with personal assistants and engagement managers working in teams to provide secondary backup in case my main assistant is out of the office.

    – Lead research (I gave them a list of 300 companies and the titles of the people we sell to, she researches to find emails and contact info and maintains the data in our CRM tool).
    – Outbound email campaigns (Each week she targets X new companies, and follows up with companies that have previously been contacted but haven’t yet responded).
    – Calendar management (Any time I need help scheduling a call, I copy her on the email and she works behind the scene to set it up).

    Overall i can’t be more pleased. My PA is on top of everything, makes me look good every day. What’s better than that?!

    My Prialto Assistant and team acts as fully loaded sales assistant at a fraction of the cost. They have helped our sales organization at EliteSEM achieve an opportunity pipeline which is 100% updated. This gives me visibility into the current health of our pipeline and also lets me dive deeper into things like which channels and product divisions are performing the best.

    Getting started with Prialto was straightforward and they helped drive most of the setup. Prialto’s Engagement Manager optimized our instance of Salesforce to fit our business and helped us carefully migrate our sales teams existing data. One of the best parts of working with Prialto is that my Prialto Assistant Sherby does a great job to proactively interface with my sales team to make sure all sales activities have been logged for accurate reporting. She lets me focus on higher value tasks while only circling me in on the action items which need my attention.

    I feel comfortable they are handling our work securely from their managed offices. Even if my primary assistant is out for the day, they have trained backups who are able to keep our work moving forward.

This global level of availability demands a high sense of dedication from Prialto’s team. I had an up-to-date team of EMs and Productivity Assistants (PAs) to take the place of anyone who was sick or on vacation. This level of backup support ensured strong continuity, and I was secure that every person working with me was on the same page. If there were any issues, there was an efficient response to the problem.

    The elevated level of professionalism and capability of the EMs and PAs eased me into a beneficial partnership with them, and I saw a proactive increase in company workflow as a result. Prialto allowed our company, PerformLine, to more easily gauge all the services that our customers rely on, a once time-consuming task.
