    I have had the pleasure of working with 24/7 Virtual Assistant for five years or so. (They have been part of my team for so long I’m not sure how long it really has been) They have been wonderful and helped me in so many ways. One of the main ways is they allow me to appear to be bigger and keep my cost down. They handle the design and layout of lots of my marketing material. I tend to give them some guidance and then let them run. 95% of the time they come up with a solution that works great. I have also been able to offer services that I would not otherwise been able to offer.     I’ve been using 247virtualassistant since early 2016 and am extremely pleased, have even recommended them to friends in the industry. I run a boutique executive search firm and the VAs are competent for everything from email response handling to research to managing marketing automation and salesforce.com. When my first assistant was having health issues, they were able to find a great new VA within 2 days. When I added a 2nd part time VA, they were able to find him within a day. The flexibility and responsiveness is fantastic. Saves so much time and money compared to finding and managing a VA myself via Odesk or similar (which I’d done for 6 years prior).   3. I have done quite some research before choosing this firm. The VA is very polite however i am quite disappointed with their quality of work.

    After constructing a clear email with the tasks for the VA assigned to me, they continued to ask questions that has already been answered in the email, also failed to take on the comments onboard with the final email drafts etc.

    Because they didn’t read the email instruction, they misunderstood our business and provided the wrong information to our counter-parties.

    I ended up spending more time giving them feedback and decided to terminate the collaboration to save myself time.

    Maybe this is a firm for simpler tasks… perhaps it would have helped if they set up a session beforehand to get a better understanding of a business first.

    I am a stay-at-home mom with 6 active children, a hard working husband, and a tight household budget. One might think that having a VA is a luxury for someone like me, not so – it most definitely meets an essential need. 274VA has provided quality service for a reasonable price.

    I am most grateful for their commitment to customer satisfaction. The first VA that I was assigned to did not have the right set of skills that I needed. After I made several efforts to train her in areas that were necessary to complete my needed tasks, I approached a manager about being reassigned. The response I received was perfect – they didn’t hesitate; they spent time talking with me to 1) better understand what I needed and 2) learn possible ways to help her develop certain skills. Making such a request can be awkward, but everyone, including the VA, were very gracious and professional. I was assigned a 2nd VA who I have really enjoyed working with. He is good at asking clarification questions and receiving feedback. I like that he works during my ‘day time’ so we can talk via phone or back & forth via Email during the day.

    I tend to rate quality work a higher priority than fast work; my VA has worked hard to made that adjustment. Since, I really need a VA to help me get my busy work done while freeing me up to focus on the more personal aspects of my role as mom and wife; spending too much time proof reading and providing feedback is counter productive. More than the 1st VA, I can tell he tries hard to listen and understand my particular requests & once he understands my preferences…, he submits high quality work.

    In the VA world, one of the things that I did not expect was how much time it took me to prep my tasks so they can be turned over to the VA. Gathering information that I have had in various places and in various formats (including randomly floating in my head) while also creating work flows that someone else could follow easily took a huge amount of time. I was overwhelmed before I hired a VA and the learning curve made me even more overwhelmed. 24/7VA wasn’t able to help me much with creating work flows, but they did credit me a month’s worth of hours to compensate for the time I was unable to get work to my VA. They also didn’t charge me for the hours I spent training both of the VAs. I really appreciated the fact that they were so patient in this way – it helped me not stress about waisting time and money.

    Because I am a homemaker (versus an office worker) who has to train myself to do pretty much everything, I wish I felt like I could ‘pay’ him to train me in some small ways. Maybe suggest formats or methods that might be more efficient while still achieving my goal; things as simple as suggesting available shortcuts. Other areas that apply – I have not yet used Skype to communicate with my VA, because I’ve never done it before – he hasn’t encouraged me to try (maybe because it wouldn’t improve our communication). I asked for suggestions for document sharing and choosing a task management ap; Unfortunately, I spent a lot to research, choose, & learn and ap – to then find out he was already familiar with that ap. We struggled for many week with our documents not being compatible (I have a mac and 24/7VA works with PCs); then I discovered that I could purchase Windows for Mac. That seems like something that the agency &/or the VA would of mentioned early on. So… these are some things that added to my overwhelming learning curve. I would suggest that more support for 1st time VA users be offered. In addition, I’m guessing more and more stay-at-home moms may use the services of a VA – some of us are not highly tech savvy and could use more support in the areas I listed above. I really like my VA, he is a pleasant person; however, I don’t really feel he is fully invested in understanding the big picture of my life and how a VA fits. Rather he focus’ on the given projects as they are given. For an actual business, this may be a bigger deal, but I suppose it is acceptable for me.

    When I was researching for an agency to hire a personal VA, I really appreciated reviews that address both strengths and areas for future improvement. That is what I have tried to offer in my review. I hope it is clear that I do appreciate 24/7VA’s services – they are a great company; I believe their fees are well worth their services and I would recommend that you try them out.

    We have a small and growing business. I found 247 Virtual Assistant via this website about 9 months ago and its been a great move. I’ve had the same dedicated VA the entire time and they are fantastic to work with and always easy to get in touch with when I need them. Two warnings… 1. make sure you have plenty of work to give them and make the time to give proper instructions (I make instructional videos and share via Dropbox), and 2. don’t be surprised if tasks get forgotten after a while or corners are cut – be prepared to follow up in these instances. Just because you handed over a task doesn’t mean you can completely forget about it. I get around this by having a folder (in our shared Dropbox folder) for every active task and moving the completed tasks into an ‘archive’ folder. This helps keep everyone on top of what’s currently active.
    5 stars for every facet except ‘quality of work’ where they could stay on top of the active tasks better and could rush less overall. I’d certainly recommend 247 to other business owners!

  4. I have used 24/7 for my company for almost a year now. They have been incredibly helpful with the time consuming tasks that usually get put to the side in my daily day. They have created spreadsheets for me, researched potential business partners and helped me create a database of my clients.

    The work has always been completed in a timely manner. As long as you define the task correctly and don’t leave it vague or open to interpretation, everything goes smoothly. I always start the task with a two hour time limit to make sure the work is being completed as requested and then let 24/7 finish at their pace. I have never had an issue that wasn’t solved quickly and working with Salith at 24/7 has always been professional.

    I’ve used 247 Virtual Assistant for over 3 years and have been extremely pleased along the way! At first, they were a great option for having your first assistant as they are both less expensive and pick up tasks and assistant duties easily. With a dedicated assistant, like at 247 virtual assistant, I was able to have them build a template of their work that we have used for all our future workers. One of the biggest things I’ve learned on this journey is you have to always keep reading books on being a great business owner. That also means being a great leader, and a great communicator. With out doing this, you probably won’t have good chemistry with your VA. Once I learned this, things have gone really well with my experience.     Great and timely service. Any negative reviews post about servicing appears to be training related. I have found that this issue is more of a problem for the business owner not properly training their VA. As long as you take the time to properly train your workers, they provide excellent service and always take a proactive approach to their work. I thank this service enough for their great work!

    I hired Virtual Assistant 24/7 for my data entry work and I have found them to be extremely helpful. The research is great and I love their dictation. At first, I was skeptical but now that I’ve tried these guys, I can’t see my working without them.     I signed up for this service because of this website and the positive reviews. I’m not sure if they’ve changed or what happened but I agree with the latest review before me. They were just not worth the money at all.

    The very initial beginnings were OK and my actual dedicated VA was not bad (the only downside being her English). She was responsive, helpful and eager to do her part (her name was Lakshmi). The supervisor was not as great at all and although talking to him on the phone made me feel good, beyond that it was hard to reach him or get good work done. “Patience” is not necessarily a word you want to hear from a VA that is trying to get your business kick started and going. Otherwise, how much am I supposed to keep paying them “per hour?” for all these tasks.

    It only got worse as we went along to the point where I cancelled after 2.5 months. Really not happy with it overall. They didn’t even try to repair or mend the relationship.

    I moved on to uassist.me and they seem to be much better already in terms of communication and English ability.

We at 247VirtualAssistant.com try our best to make sure we achieve our clients goals, however we do run into instances where a clients expectations don’t match up with what can actually be achieved. This particular client needed SEO work done for his website, for which I told him that it would take time to rank and I will walk him thru the process.

      The “patience” he mentioned came from these conversations. Individuals who have done SEO can understand how immediate results are just not a feasible expectation. Essentially this client cancelled after 1.5 months of SEO because I asked him to show patience with getting results.

      He mentioned that I was hard to reach, however what he’s referring to is not being able to reach me over Labor Day weekend, when I wasn’t in the office. He promptly cancelled in the same weekend and came here to leave this comment.

      Considering the difficulty this client presented, we decided that it would be better if he finds another service that would better suit his needs and intentionally decided not try and retain him. I believe that’s what he’s referring to on mending the relationship. By his comments, I’m glad to see that the VA service was working for him, and if language was a concern we also offer US based Virtual Assistants as an option. We hope this sheds a clearer light on the situation.

    Hi,

    Admittedly I didn’t find the tasks to outsource that I originally had envisaged, however, I found that when I emailed to cancel the service, I received zero response even after chasing several times, from John, who was my assigned contact. I have cancelled my regular payment with my bank but have left with a bad experience, as I would have considered using these people again, when I had more for them to do. They were very responsive on everything else, which makes me realise, they are just after my money and then quite the opposite become completely unresponsive when you are looking to turn off the monthly subscription – this says it all to me.

      My sincere apologies for this. Our intention is not to be responsive just for paying clients, in fact much of our business model depends on repeat or returning clients. I believe this was a situation where the system did not work as it was intended.

      Once a client cancels, they typically get an automated confirmation from the system and a confirmation from their VA as well just to see if there was anything we could improve. The VA’s are only allowed to communicate with their current clients and any communication from potential or previous clients go thru our managers. This may be the reason why your VA didn’t respond, however a manager should have been in touch with you in that case. I hope I can change your mind on your exit experience with us, and I would even be willing to offer a month of service to make up for your experience.     After reading multiple reviews in this website, I think it is important that I give my opinion of working with 24/7virtualassistant.

    I have been with them to close to 6 month now.
    I signed up for the service in March this year.
    These are my thoughts and the systems we use.

    The team leader that was assigned to was Mr. Salith Sassi.

    I have found him extremely resourceful and it is refreshing to know that even though at times he will not have the answer to my task at hand his ” can do ” attitude assures me that the task will get done.

    At first I was skeptical about the company. Mainly for two reasons:

    1. The Language and Cultural Barrier
    2. Pride in delivery

    I have come to find out that the times where they don’t get it right it was because of assumptions about the task. That is why I use Basecamp as a project management tool to give out tasks and when possible break it down in tiny steps for delivery.

    This way 9 times out of 10, I get my task done the exact way I want.

    Furthermore because I am leveraging the resources of a round the clock team. I have outsourced multiple aspects of my business, moreover they have been available to bail me out when I had tight deadlines.

    The is no denying the is existence of a cultural barrier. I am in Britain and he is India!

    What I found is that when we schedule weekly 20 minute meeting calls every Monday to give feedback on previous tasks and what lays ahead. I have developed a better understanding of their company’s culture and competencies and more importantly they get a better understanding of mine. So far all expectations are clearly managed.

    This service isn’t a perfect turnkey solution. In a way you get out what you put in.

    However, The team is eager to do a good job!

    So with clear detailed task instructions, adequate project management systems and weekly calls, this service will really come to life.

    Overall my experience has been great with 247virtualassistant. I would recommend them. It’s a no brainer.

    Reading the reviews on this website I had high hopes for 24/7 Virtual Assistant, and unfortunately I was deeply disappointed.

    The let-down started with the VA I was assigned, who showed no interest in my business or my requirements, beyond “send me tasks.” This was very different to the experience I was led to expect, and clearly the assigned VA was never going to become an integrated part of my business. But I had a go anyway. With an hour to go in her work day, I asked her to arrange some photo editing. She replied that all the people with that skill had left already and that it would have to wait until tomorrow. I received an update 18 hours later, but when I checked the work the required edits (clearly communicated) had not been performed. I asked our VA whether she had checked the work, and she chose not to answer. 31 hours later I finally received the edited photos.

    As one of the other directors of our company said, we cannot possibly work with people who can’t be relied upon to follow a simple clear instruction, or who describe themselves as “team leader” but do not take responsibility for the performance of their team. We also need a VA who sees themselves as a part of our team and wants to understand our business, not one who simply waits for tasks to be emailed over.

    Unfortunately you will also find 24/7 Virtual Assistant impossible to get hold of when things go wrong. The only point of contact is your assigned VA. Enquiries on their website’s email form go unanswered. There is no way to cancel your account. We have not been successful in obtaining a refund for the unused hours that we prepaid. We will be looking around for another VA company, and this time will choose one that guarantees their work and proves that they are interested and responsive prior to us handing over any money.

    I was referred to 24/7 Virtual Assistant by one of my friend who has been using them for his business. I have used couple VA companies and individual freelancer VA’s before, but 247 set up is totally different and I enjoy working with my dedicated VA . I run an online store and most of my time was used for researching prices, new items, updates etc. before I hired John from 247. Since then he has been an integral part of my business and took over all the research and customer service from me so that I can concentrate more on marketing and sales. It worked out really good and now I only work 8 hours a day compared to 12-14 hours before.     I have interacted with a few different virtual assistance providers in the past, and while they got the job done, overall I can’t say I was too impressed with their services. That was up until I ran a list of tasks that I needed completed by 24/7 virtual assistance, they made an impact on my world. A representative from 24/7, Sandra, did what every other company failed at doing, she worked with me on a personal level and met every expectation I had in mind.

    Rather then just address what it would take to finish a given job Sandra actually took the time to understand me: my work ethics, and my overall goals. She compromised the approach she took on the services based on how I would want it done. That really meant something to me.

    When I finally decided to hire on a personal virtual assistant, I had initially heard of all of the great reviews about 24/7 Virtual Assistant. I have to admit I was skeptical at first.

    With all of the tasks stacking up on my desk and no end in sight, I was nervous about hiring on an assistant that may not perform to my standards. Well, their service definitely proved me wrong.

    We signed up with 247  around 4 months back after considering several other companies providing VA service. We did contact many companies in the beginning to do the background study to see who would be a good fit for our needs and 247 was the first one to respond back (within couple hours I believe) and I have to say that first impression made the best impression . Their communication has been excellent from day 1 and we are very happy with the  way things worked out.     I’ve been using 247’s US based Virtual Assistant service for about 4 months now and i have to say it’s the best investment i have ever made for my business. My VA Amy answers my calls, handles rental enquires and priority calls from tenants at our cabins and also does most of our paperwork/quick books stuff.     No problems at all!

    I first began to use 247 about 3 month ago, I run a commercial headhunting company and needed some outside assistance to get tasks out of the way that were clogging up my day. 247 seemed to be the answer!     Got recommended by a close friend of mine to start using 247 Virtual Assistant , as I was having a lot of trouble handling a large workload on my own, mostly easy tasks that just took up so much time, such as administrative tasks.This was my first time using such a company and at first I was a bit stumped at the prices (Obviously not having any experience on how much it should cost), however after doing some research I realised that the company was relatively cheap, and since my friend had recommended them, I thought I best off just sticking with 247.

    Started using 247 a few months ago, and I can honestly say that I’ve never came across a problem with the company! Every time I had an issue I would contact my Virtual assistant and they would assist me ASAP.     Avoid this one like the plague!!

    I was assigned a virtual assistant but communication was extremely difficult as he would only work based on his time zone. This means that they would not match me with someone who should work based on my time. I try to compromise with the overlapping in the end of his work day and the start of mine. So I said 2 hours before you finish can you send me a copy of your work. In the 3 weeks I was working with him, he only did it once! This meant that the majority of the time he would send me his work only after he has finished for the day. this was not helped by; even with detailed e-mail descriptions outlining the tasks that I needed undertaking. He would only return with basic links(billing me for an hour with something I could find on google in 10 minutes) and not the report as I had described in detail. The super visor was copied on all the mails but was no help at all.

    I started using 247 around 4 months back and I have to say I am pretty impressed. I run an online store and it worked out perfectly for me. They have VA’s , web developers and SEO guys working in the same place which made my life so much easier. The best part is once I signed up for their VA service, I had access to the other teams as well and they deduct the hours used from my VA plan with a slightly higher hourly rate. My dedicated VA Sam acted as the point of contact for the other teams, this way I didn’t had to deal with 10 different people. Sam is helping me with customer service , their web team is helping me with updates for my website and I just signed up for their SEO service 2 months back and I am seeing results already . So altogether, I am a happy camper. It took me a week or so to get used to their system and work flow, but I guess it paid off well.

  8. Since 24/7 has been one of the best-reviewed and most popular companies on the site, I wanted to test them out myself and see what all the fuss was about. Turns out, I’m happy to report they’re popular for good reason – I was really happy with my trial.

    I had a stack of smaller projects that had been piling up so I was eager to test them out for their 30 hour per month plan.

    I had them tackle some design work for a couple ebooks, as well as some web stuff that turned out really good. Actually if you want to see an example, download the free First-Timer’s Guide to Hiring a VA, they reformatted and redesigned that for me and it’s a huge improvement. You can see for yourself for free (and can always unsubscribe at any time, no hard feelings)!

    I also had them do some customization on another WordPress site and they did a nice job on that as well. The dedicated team-leader set-up, and distributed workforce worked well in my case for these small one-off jobs.

    Couple things to keep in mind, communication wasn’t hindered by any sort of language barrier but it was by the time difference. I had to stay up pretty late to catch my contact in the morning India time on Skype. It wasn’t a huge issue since I work from home, and it was awesome to have them getting stuff done while I was asleep but if there were any points that needed clarifying it would be another 12 hr cycle before we could hash it out.

    Their first effort was not always their best effort, and a couple times I had to ask for edits or revisions. They were generally quick and professional about it, but I would have liked to see a little more initiative shown up front in terms of testing and even just pride in delivery, to really take it to the next level.

    Hard to describe but I think you know what I mean … like come on, that’s not up the quality standards I’m looking for.

    My account was kind of set up offline so I’m not sure what the client interface looks like. It would have been cool to see a time tracker, just to see how many hours I had left during the month.

    But overall, the team at 24/7 did an awesome job and I was very thankful for their help. If you send me an email I’ll share another example or 2 of the work they did for me.
