I don’t know who wrote these good reviews. I have tried woodbows out with a 3 month plan with 80 hours a month. I have been through 4 of their different VAs. Their VA does not follow instructions, they do not read directions, and they do tasks with lack of independent problem solving or lack of common sense. You spend more time correcting them over and over again, this VA makes the operations more complicated…. And trust me, we have spend all the time we can to provide them the right tools, training and instructions. But they just can’t do simple tasks correctly.
Woodbows misrepresents the service it provides
clients on its website. My Woodbows contact was not responsive when I tried to initiate contact with him and the person who was supposed to be my new virtual assistant. In addition, the phone numbers on their site do not work and don’t lead to any company voicemail system or live person. The team members featured on their site – some of them have LinkedIn profiles that are very thin in terms of experience and some of the profile links don’t work at all. This company does not operate with integrity and they will take your money and provide very poor service if any service at all. They have a very slick website that says all the right things to gain customer trust, plus what appears to be a lot of positive reviews. Don’t be fooled. Pay attention to the negative ones which consistently bring up the same issues I have shared above. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WOODBOWS.

I regret giving Woodbows a try. I paid for three weeks of work 10 hours/week. 2 weeks later and only 13 hours of inaccurate & poorly-detailed work completed, I decided to end my contract. It did not appear that there was actually 10 hours worth of work per week available to me, and I could not move to new tasks due to having to re-try tasks or delayed timelines. I spoke to the administrative team about this, and they promised to refund me for my last week – letting me know it was being processed and would be stated in 5 business days. This was over 2 months ago. After multiple follow up emails and phone calls (they even tried to convince me at one point to try with them again), I still have not received my refund. Now, they have stopped responding. The whole thing feels like a scam – I am very disappointed.
I bought 3 months of a on 23 July from Woodbows. Nothing. No tasks done, almost no communication. They don’t do as their Web says. They only work American hours and I never got a VA, not in 24 hours – not in 3 weeks! I’ve been trying to get my money back and they won’t even reply to emails anymore.

This has been the worst experience ever with a remote company. No only no one responds to emails, but they were late to my onboarding call, I was assigned a place to upload tasks and an account manager, but it has been 3 weeks and no work has been done, no one has contacted me, and when I finally reached someone today, I was told my VA is out sick and there are two other people handling his accounts.
Funny, I have heard from NONE of them…ever! I have called to complain and all I get is “someone will call you in the morning to sort this out”.

I had high hopes, but working with Woodbows was a disaster. For the first meeting, the VA did not show up. For the second meeting, the VA disappeared half way through. Concerned they couldn’t handle the task (data entry) I shifted gears and asked them to complete a simple website. That’s when all communication ceased. They didn’t fulfill the service, nor answer my request for a refund. I almost never write a bad review, but this company should be avoided at all costs.
I’m amazed at all the positive reviews honestly, my first experience with this company was a complete disaster. For an incredibly simple spreadsheet buildout project, the work product was a solid D+ and almost embarrassingly bad. The project was also delivered 6 days later than agreed upon. I canceled my subscription immediately and would literally never recommend this company to anyone.
