Plans and Pricing

As you might expect, BELAY is considerably more expensive than many of the overseas virtual assistant options. In some parts of the world, you may even be able to find a full-time virtual employee for a lower monthly fee. But BELAY believes you get what you pay for, and clearly isn’t targeting the same customer who’s looking for the $5/hour VA.

As of October 2020, their hourly rates range from $38 – $45.

The good thing is that these rates are “all-inclusive,” in that you don’t have any additional employer burden costs to pay on top of it, like you would with a traditional W-2 employee.

BELAY offers a variety of contract sizes for each service line with a 30-day cancellation notice.

    What I appreciate about my BELAY bookkeeper is that she asks me questions such as, “What can I do that will help you today?” and “What can I take off your plate?”.     I have nothing but praise to the Lord and thanks to our bookkeeper, Jil, as we continue to tweak and mold our accounting processes moving through this year and beyond. Word of Grace has been seeing continued steady growth in members and in giving and outreach. We have a fledgling but thriving University Campus ministry, our children’s ministry is expanding, and our community here in Indiana, PA, is beginning to work together more and more. We are also seeing about a 10% increase in giving as it stands right now this year. These are just a few examples of the kinds of things that are beginning to happen which BELAY has been a great help in. The elder board of which I am also a part of is thankful for the service you all provide. Jil continues to be very flexible and willing to explain and accommodate me in any request I have had.     It made sense to me to secure the services of a virtual assistant through BELAY as I have embraced how technology makes a virtual relationship not only possible but a great solution to a healthy work-life balance for both me as a client and my assistant, Candace as a contractor.     As the Director of a start-up local chapter of Young Life, a ministry with the mission of introducing adolescents to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith, I am responsible for the whole kit and caboodle– I’m the CEO, the janitor, the receptionist, head of sales, fundraising, volunteer recruitment and training, and the maintenance person.     I have been working with my assistant through Belay for about 6 months now. The work has been exceptional. Not only has she been trained to give those virtual nods to let me know she received information or completed a project, but she is able to do a more thorough research job on projects I personally consider tedious and frustrating.

    My primary reason for recommending the VA with Belay is my return on investment.     I’ve only worked with Cheryl for a couple of months and after adjusting to communicating via phone and emails, I am finding the service and Cheryl’s skills helpful. I like Cheryl and she is very flexible and willing to help in any way she can. My challenges are in having the time to sufficiently train her to do the various tasks that need to be completed and the organization it takes on my part to prioritize the tasks and assign them timely so that she will have time to complete them before I need them completed. The experience has been good and as we continue to work together and she becomes more familiar with more aspects of the tasks that need to be completed, the relationship will be even more useful.   12. I finally made the move to contact Belay (well, EAHelp at the time) and enquire about hiring a VA. My initial discussion with one of their team members helped my clarify my needs and what I was hoping to achieve by doing so.

    The process then went to an advisor who identified even more precisely what I was looking for. There was even a form for that!

    Finally, I was matched with Robin, my favourite VA 🙂

    What is notable is the effort in analyzing my needs, and in matching a candidate that would fit naturally. After 3 months, I can confirm it went very well for me.

    There was a followup meeting 2-3 times in 90 days, and I suspect some coaching fro Robin along the way. the Belay touch maybe?
