I have been using Insolvo for a few weeks so far and I can say that I like a lot the intuitive chat system with several options like the indicator of seen messages, attachment sharing protocol, and instant update system.
You are required to complete a short and simple test for verification and from then on, you are free to apply to as many tasks as you desire and the payment is guaranteed. The only complaint would be that new tasks don’t appear as often as I’d like and sometimes – the clients take a very long time to reply.

I’ve been using Insolvo everyday for the past 2 weeks and I have had a great experience so far with just one minor one major complaint.
The sign up process is relatively simple and involves a short test to ensure you’ve read and understood the rules. Once you are signed up there are plenty of jobs to do do.
Insolvo has a great chat system. You can share attachments and there’s blue tick to indicate a message has been read.
To guarantee payments Insolvo requires buyers to deposit the full amount before work can begin. The hold that amount in reserve until the work is done or if there’s a dispute, they can review the communication in the chats and deal with payment or refund.
Starting out as newbie I thought it would be hard to get accepted for jobs but thankfully I was wrong. It seems like the best way to get a chance to be selected for a task at Insolvo is to bid on the task as soon as it is published.
Now biggest problem I’ve encountered is that the buyers aren’t clear in their task descriptions as to what they want done. They often just write a sentence so you don’t exactly know what needs to be done and therefore can’t gauge if the offered price is right.
Insolvo should be more strict about posting a task, maybe requiring a minimum word count or have different sections to fill in such as description, deliverables, etc…

The follow up process to determine the success of your bid is eased and constant communication keeps one abreast. Information on the system of payment is made available from the beginning of registration and is easy to understand. Since the start of COVID, I have had time to focus on my freelance work and I found that Insolvo was a great way to earn a little bit of money while working on tasks that I enjoy (editing, proofreading, technical tasks, resume writing, etc). The payment system is simple since it pays to Paypal. However, freelancers should be made aware that the site takes 10% commission on each job and then an extra 5% when you want to withdraw from your wallet. What I like is that there is some variety of tasks to complete but I find that some tasks are not paid fairly for the type of work involved. Still, you have a choice not to take those. Overall, the website itself is user friendly and I hope there are more tasks to come.
