Hello Rache is a live virtual assistant and transcription service for medical professionals. They have a team of HIPAA-certified assistants trained and experienced in the medical field waiting take some of your workload off your hands.

The company started operations in 2017. Their headquarters is in the US, and all of their healthcare virtual assistants are in the Philippines.

About Hello Rache

The company was founded by Mark Carnett, D.O. Dr Carnett has his own medical practice in Arizona, and after using the services of virtual assistants to help manage his workload for the last three years he decided to start the business to help other medical professionals.

When you sign up with Hello Rache you will be assigned a virtual assistant after discussing your requirements.

You can start a live feed with your assistant via tablet, mobile device, laptop, or any streaming device and literally take them with you as you do your rounds, see patients, work in your office, and so on.

The assistant will be on-hand to watch and listen as you interact with your patients. They can update live charts, transcribe if needed, and carry out any other tasks that can be completed remotely.

Services

Their services are broken down into three main categories:

  1. Virtual Scribe – Your assistant will accompany you in the examination room and complete your notes for you while you’re working with your patients.
  2. Administrative Services – You can task your assistant to handle your emails, faxes, refill prescriptions, phone calls, or any other admin tasks that will help free up more of your time.
  3. Medical Transcription – All their assistants have been trained in a medical profession. They understand medical jargon, are familiar with transcription software, and will transcribe medical notes.

If you have other tasks that can be completed remotely you can discuss these with your assistant.

Plans and Pricing

The pricing structure at Hello Rache couldn’t be any simpler, you pay a fixed rate of $9 per hour. That’s it, no hidden costs, no extras, just a flat hourly rate.

There are no fixed contracts and you’re not tied into any usage packages either, you just pay for the hours you use.

Hello Rache Alternatives

Another company offering similar pricing and specializing in supporting medical professionals is Xilium. They also use staff based in the Philippines and can handle all the day-to-day tasks of a medical professional.

What separates Hello Rache apart from other companies in the same space is that they specialize only in the medical field, and you’re able to take a live assistant with you as you go about your work.

I am appalled by the unethical and inconsiderate behavior exhibited by DHVA HelloRache DHVA QA’s. My recent experience with them has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. They displayed a complete disregard for my well-being by insisting to finish my requirements and assignments on time eventhough I’m sick!!!

Despite being fully aware of my condition, HelloRache chose to prioritize their own agenda over my health and comfort. Instead of showing compassion and understanding, they pushed for unnecessary requirements that added unnecessary stress and burden.

This callous behavior demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and professionalism on the part of HelloRache. It is utterly unacceptable to place additional demands on someone who is already dealing with physical or mental health challenges. This not only shows a lack of respect fbut also a lack of basic human decency.

They are very biased. A friend of mine applied in this outsourcing company with hopes that it will help her have a better job than what she has before. She was already on training but got got terminated along the way with the stupidest reasons. They say they impose high adherence to their policy but they are very biased. Their QAs power trip and invades private group chats of trainees. When you are in their training, it feels like you are held captive by these QAs. Very biased and very unprofessional. They require their trainees to comply with their standards but most of their QAs doesn’t. They think like they own you just because they have this $7 offer. But a lot of their trainees still doesn’t have any clients but they keep on massive hiring trainees. POOR SYSYTEM, POOR TRAINERS, POOR MANAGEMENT, BIASED DECISION-MAKING.

They make you commit to a 2 month training without pay, and what’s worse is you are required to leave your job beforehand, buy high end hardware and secure a permanent set up, all without a guarantee for a job. They easily dismiss you for the stupidest of reasons, their instructors power trip a lot, training is actually only 50% useful, the other 50% is spent wasting your time.. After the training, there is another 1-2 months of waiting for a potential client.

I wouldn’t recommend this company because what company let’s you go for 3-4 months without pay, asks too much of you in training that it feels like you’re back in college, and dismisses you if you don’t meet their “high” standards, C’mon.

One of the worst experience I have ever had, 1/10 WOULD NOT recommend this shit.

So many bad reviews. Poor training. Trainers are power tripping. Abusive of the trainees since no pay. They will ask you to resign from your company but they can easily let you go. There are lots of better companies out there.

I 100% agree that the quality of their VAs is very low. What they promise you during their Sales call is so much different from what you are going to get. They will not care about you, although they pretend to be. They only care about money money money. I am so happy I’m not with them anymore. I did try a couple of other companies and found only 2 that worked best for me. One is Express – they really take care of you especially in the beginning. The VAs I got were not very impressive though. Somehow at par or just a little better than Hellorache’s. The next one is Velp. They are the very first company to have all very impressive candidates! The quality of VAs here are all admirable from their initial records to their English speaking skills to the interview and now I’m with 2 amazing Medical VAs and 1 Administrative VA who are just so helpful in many ways. The support I’m getting from Velp is awesome, too! So if you are thinking about signing with Hellorache. Please don’t make the same mistake as mine. Check Express or Velp. If only there were as much reviews back then, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and money. Hope this helps!

    1. Velp is the way to go! Been with them for over a year and everything has been great. Process is smooth, overall management is excellent and my virtual assistants are my angels! So glad I stumbled into a review about Velp Staffing. Theyve been really great

Best company ever! I’ve been to a lot of company trust me (BPO). You will be well compensated while working in the comfort of your home and the clients are very professional and they treat you as a family even though you work remotely.

I had to order a new credit card and I notified them. I got the card over a holiday weekend and updated Monday. They suspended my service for 2 payments after being with them months and no one is responding despite card being updated and all funds paid. Do not use. Reckless abandonment will leave you stranded.

Not stable. Not applicable for someone that wants a permanent work. Will not recommend. There is favoritism with the HVA. Good looking hva are lucky and prioritize. But nevertheless I thank this company for all the learnings.

Just leaving HelloRache- gratefully. They are not at all client centered. They are HelloRache centered. The quality of their HVAs is very low, they do not train them well, or support training of the HVAs. They will not support the client if there is a concern, and are mostly after themselves and their own profits. Not a fan. Not impressed. Save your money. There are much better companies out there that care about their people.

  3. Good salary.

Cons: no growth. The company will promote or hire someone without announcement to other HVA that the position is open. They will just pick someone without proper selection. They are client center.

Training is fast paced and intense. Para kang bumalik sa college kse ang daming homeworks na kailangan gawin at ipasa. Management is really strict. Bawal magkamali or else dismiss ka sa training. They have spies na nilalagay sa training, kapag may nasabi kang di maganda about one of their QAs, dismiss ka agad. They don’t believe in second chances.
