WP Tangerine is a US-based WordPress and WooCommerce support company. You can request unlimited fixes, tasks, and support queries for your WordPress or WooCommerce site for a flat monthly fee.

The company has been operating since 2015, and their offices are located in Berkeley, California.

About WP Tangerine

WPTangerine ReviewThe company is headed up by Matthew Goff and Marcus Krupp. Their target customers are small businesses in need of help managing or fixing issues on their WordPress and WooCommerce sites.

Website issues can be costly, as can falling behind on maintenance or properly optimizing your content. I learned this the hard way when several old sites of mine were infected with malware — all because I forgot to login and make some critical WordPress updates!

WP Tangerine’s objective is to offer a cost-effect solution for small businesses that can’t afford or justify hiring a full-time developer.

For a monthly fee, you have a team of WP developers, graphic designers, and task managers on-hand. You can submit unlimited requests if you run into any issues with your site you can’t fix, and most tasks are turned around in one business day.

How WP Tangerine Works

WP Tangerine offers a free website review, so if you want to give your site a health check it’s worth filling out their review request form.

They’ll give you some tips on how you can improve your SEO, site design, page speed, security, and more. I’m sure they’ll point out how they can help if you sign up for one of their plans at this point too.

If you do sign up for a monthly plan, you can submit unlimited support tickets. This could be for anything related to your site, such as fixing errors, requesting help with SEO, theme and plugin maintenance, etc.

Anything that’s related to your site that you can’t solve yourself or don’t have time to do, you can send over to WP Tangerine’s developers. Just simply fill out a request form, and they’ll complete the fix within 1 business day.

Services

WP Tangerine welcomes you to send over a request to fix, change, or develop anything related to a WordPress or WooCommerce site.

All of their plans offer unlimited requests per month. This is restricted by the fact that you can only send one request at a time, and each request will typically take 1 business day to complete.

They also cap each request as an hour of work. If your request is going to take longer than an hour, they will break it up into smaller tasks over more than 1 day.

Some of the most commonly requested tasks are:

  • Fixes – From typos to broken pages and everything in between. You can send a request for any tweaks or fixes you want to make to your site.
  • Optimization – SEO, page loading speed, anything you want better optimized you can raise a ticket for.
  • SEO – Their team can help improve your on-site SEO to maximize your organic presence online.
  • Emergency Care – Any errors, downtime, and things breaking can be costly to your business. Having the team at WP Tangerine on-hand means you should be up and running within 24 hours.
  • Maintenance – Websites require ongoing maintenance to keep things running smoothly. You can hand this over to the team at WP Tangerine.

Plans and Pricing

WP Tangerine currently has three different monthly packages. Their pricing starts at $147 per month which is valid for one website.

All of their plans include unlimited tasks, one business day turnaround, WooCommerce support, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

A complete list of their packages at the time of publishing are as follows:

  • Basic – $147 per month – This package allows you to request unlimited tasks for 1 site.
  • Pro – $187 per month – This package allows you to request unlimited tasks for up to 3 sites and adds graphics and design tasks.
  • Pro Plus – $247 per month – This package allows you to request unlimited tasks for up to 6 sites and adds website builds and redesigns.

WP Tangerine Alternatives

Zen WP and Access WP are two alternative companies that offer monthly support plans for WordPress sites. They don’t say they specialize in WooCommerce, but it’s worth asking them if you’re running WooCommerce.

Another option is to find a WordPress or WooCommerce developer on a freelance marketplace like Fiverr. This might work out better if you have a one-off task or want to work with someone on an ongoing basis.
